YOUNGSTERS from Winchcombe Farm Day Nursery had a treat on Sunday when two soldiers from MOD Kineton dropped in to see them.

Corporal Kevin Doyle and Corporal Kirsty Rumbelow called into the Shenington Road day nursery to talk to the children about why we wear poppies, what soldiers do and talked about working for the Queen. They also taught the children how to salute and let them try on their berets.

The children have been taking part in several Remembrance Day activities this week which included each room in the nursery decorating a petal with red hand prints which were then attached together to make a huge poppy, which was displayed on the front of nursery.
