A CARE home in Chipping Campden opened its doors to the community for its popular annual summer fayre.
Visitors enjoyed a raft of activities and entertainment including Morris dancing, an owl and reptile display, a magician and live music at the event at Mill House care home.
Koren Evans-Slade, care home manager, said she was relieved the weather did not manage to ruin the day.
"Despite a torrential downpour and thunder and lightening, everyone still had a great time," she said.
"It is always wonderful when the community comes together to support these events as our residents enjoy playing an active part in the local community.
"I would like to thank all of our staff for their hard work in organising the day, local businesses that donated some fantastic raffle prizes and obviously everyone who attended."
The event raised more than £700, which will go towards the home's two charities for this year, Parkinson’s UK and the Alzheimer’s Society.
