Woman dies after car crash
A WOMAN died and another was injured following a two car collision at Mickleton this afternoon.
The crash on the B4362 happened about 1.15pm when a black Nova SX was in collision with a blue Fiat Punto. The Novo then burst into flames.
Paramedics, the air ambulance and fire fighters from Gloucestershire attended the scene. The air ambulance was not required and the injured woman was taken to hospital by road.
The road was closed by police for the rest of the afternoon while police and emergency services carried out an investigation into the accident. The Highways Agency was informed.
