THE January meeting of the Club was well attended and several new members joined for the coming year. Our speaker was Adrian James, his talk entitled "Its All Greek To Me!" accompanied by beautiful photographic images of his many visits to both the mainland and the Greek islands. He held us all enthralled with his amusing and factual presentation, and I am convinced that many of us will arrange a visit for ourselves in the not too distant future, having been mesmerized by the spectacular scenery but not least the sunshine!
Our February meeting takes place on Wednesday 28 at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall, and is a talk entitled"Wild Orchids of the South Midlands". The speaker is Dr. Colin Scrutton, and we look forward to welcoming everyone for an entertaining and informative evening in a friendly atmosphere. We will also be distributing the Spring Show schedules in advance of our March meeting. Again this month we extend a warm welcome to those Evesham Gardening Club members seeking a new club to join since their old one disbanded.
