2016 got off to a flying start with a record number of members joining up for the coming year. Our first meeting was a great success when Duncan Coombes gave us a talk entitled 'A traveller in China' which he illustrated with wonderful slides which truly enlightened us all on the beauty and diversity of China's countryside. Our meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 24 takes place in the Memorial Hall at 7.30pm when Lynn Stevens visits and shares her 'Passion for Parks'. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

The club would however like to wish one of our long term members, Rowlatt Cook, a very happy 90th birthday for 24th. And although she is unable to attend our meetings she is frequently in our thoughts, so have a lovely birthday Rowlatt, we all wish you well.
