FOLLOWING on from our AGM during January, our Floral Art members held their first Club meeting on Wednesday, February 1 - when we welcomed a number of visitors to the evening.
Our Demonstrator was Mrs Susan Smithson, with her evening entitled "Through the Garden Arch". Her arrangements were full of colour and very interesting - afterwards raffled to members, as is our normal course of action.
We also held a competition for Club members - working on a "petite" version of the same title. Great fun, especially when each entry had to be no more than 10 inches in height, width and depth. A real challenge!
Our next meeting will be taking place on Wednesday, March 1 at the Offenham Village Hall - commencing at 7.30pm. Our Demonstrator will be Mrs Dawn Keithley with her demonstration entitled "Good Enough to Eat".
We will also have our own Club competition for those who wish to take part - ending with tea/coffee and biscuits plus the opportunity to chat with other like minded people. Meetings normally end shortly after 9.30pm.
