Ladies Guild
At the March meeting, our speaker was Nicholas Clark, who talked about Overland to Okavango. Nicholas and his wife took an overland expedition to Rhodes Matopos National Park. He told us that Zimbawi was three times the size of England and showed beautiful slides of the sunset over Victoria Falls. One greeting they learnt on their travels was "How did you get up?" Our singing group "The Guilded Lilies" performed in Kempsey on April 1. The evening was held in a private house for a ladies group and was thoroughly enjoyed by all present. The next performance of The Guilded Lilies is on May 26 at Evesham Town Hall. Ladies Guild also play light hearted skittles on the second Tuesday of the month at Pershore Sports Club on the Defford Road. Our next meeting is on May 12 at 2pm at the Civic Centre and new comers are always welcome.
