Our last meeting took place on a balmy sunny evening when 24 members and guests visited Kiftsgate Gardens, the home of Anne Chambers and her family. The many rose gardens were at their supreme best and were a riot of colour and variety. We were left to meander at our own pace through the woodland and many pathways through the property. The gardens are beautifully maintained and it is clear that the whole property is the result of a labour of love coupled with much hard work which keeps the visitors coming. On the evening Mrs Chambers advised us that 400 people had explored the gardens that same afternoon and one is left in no doubt of the reason why such numbers flock to this beautiful garden high in the Cotswolds.

Our next meeting on Wednesday August 25 is our second garden visit of the year when we go to Whitcombe House, Overbury. We meet at 7pm at the property and look forward to seeing you all. Guests of course are welcome. We hope for another fine evening.
