The meeting for July began with president Carla Auger welcoming all members and sending birthday wishes to three ladies.
A few members enjoyed a visit to Ironbridge and we talked about upcoming visit to Kew Gardens and many other social activities.
We were then treated to a cookery demonstration “Meals on a Budget” with Lisa Whelan from Jelly Pickle Jam, a very enjoyable evening with a tasting at the end.
Our meeting for August is a visit to an open garden in Offenham with tea included.
Our WI have a book club where we meet regularly at members houses. Many ladies meet every Tuesday morning at Amber cafe at 10.30 for coffee and a chat. For more information about our WI visit our website or follow us on twitter or Facebook.
