Later this year Evesham and District Pensioners' Association will be 25 years old and still has three of its original members. On May 8 there was a coach trip to Witley Court for members to celebrate this forthcoming landmark. Those who went on the trip were given a guided tour of the church at Witley Court which is a beautiful and interesting church. Afterwards they enjoyed a cream tea together before travelling home. Many said how much they had enjoyed the visit.

On May 22 at our monthly meeting at the Town Hall, there was a celebration of the Royal Wedding which had taken place on the previous Saturday. A ploughman's lunch and cream cake was provided.

On Tuesday 26 June our monthly meeting will be held at the Town Hall between 1.30 and 4pm when a speaker has been arranged. Our annual Summer Social will be held on Tuesday 24 July when there will be the usual delicious eats and an Elvis impersonator to entertain us. This will be a ticketed only event and tickets will be available nearer the date.

In September a coach trip is being organised to Waterperry Gardens near Oxford. Bookings are being taken now for this trip.

Visitors are always welcome at our monthly meetings where details of the Forum are available to anyone wishing to join us.
