The October 12 meeting was held at Wulstan Hall and began by warmly welcoming three visitors. We then listened to a very interesting talk about Juneberries given by Sophie Sideways. Sophie described how as part of her Degree course at Pershore College and with their help she was able to import June Berry bushes from Canada. She was able to grow and nurture these bushes on a site at The College, since then Sophie has received several grants and awards, this has enabled her to increase her acreage and production. We were able to taste some of these delicious Juneberries and look at some of her products. Vote of thanks given by Beth Milsom.
