ON Saturday 30 September at 3pm Nigel Huddleston MP will be officially opening a refurbished red telephone kiosk in the centre of Pebworth. There has been a huge combined community effort by Pebworth Parish Council, Pebworth in Bloom volunteers and Rooftop Housing who have granted the use of the land to not only raise funds to buy the redundant kiosk, but to organise its removal from the outskirts of the village, to have it completely refurbished and to purchase a deffibrilator which will be stored inside the kiosk.
At the same event a derelict piece of land owned by Rooftop Housing which has been transformed into an attractive seating area for parents waiting for Pebworth School pupils, will be officially named by Nigel Huddleston.
