EVESHAM Vale WI held its monthly meeting at Bengeworth Church Hall with newly elected president Carla Auger in attendance. The meeting opened with a review of the successful strawberry tea party held on Saturday, June 10 at Jackie Seabourne's house in Bengeworth. Donations were collected and made to the air ambulance.
A presentation and slide show was presented by Rosemary Morris and Baz Yates about golden eagles and wildlife in the Outer Hebrides which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Upcoming events were communicated to group including a garden visit to Offenham on July 11.
We meet every second Tuesday of every month and all new members and visitors would be welcome to come along.
