At the monthly meeting of Bourton-on-the-Water 75 years ago, Mr J H Wilkins presided.

Arising from the minutes was the question of the furtherance of the plans for the public convenience and a report was given of the interview between Mr Daft, the district council architect, and Dr Stewart and Mr W J Butt, the two members of the council deputed to meet him.

A new plan had been prepared incorporating the suggestions given by the two members, and this was submitted to the council.

After due consideration this was approved and the clerk was instructed to forward it to the district council with the request that the matter be dealt with as speedily as possible.
