WORCESTERSHIRE law firm Thursfields has earned special recognition from The Prince’s Trust in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Thursfields, which has its head office in the city, has been named as a committee ambassador for the trust’s regional development committee.

The official recognition comes after Thursfields’ ongoing support for the trust over a number of recent years.

A recent example was a quiz night at Worcestershire County Cricket Club which was supported by Thursfields, and raised £4,226 for the trust.

Nick O’Hara, managing director of Thursfields, said: “The Prince’s Trust is a youth charity that helps young people aged 13 to 30 get into jobs, education and training.

“The trust’s Herefordshire and Worcestershire development committee does great work in raising funds for disadvantaged young people in the two counties, and we are proud to play a part in their ongoing achievements.

“Our quiz night was a huge success and it was great to see so many local professionals get together to enjoy a fun evening for a worthy cause.

"We look forward to continuing to support the committee in the future.”
