Chimney fire tackled in Mickleton
FIREFIGHTERS spent two hours battling a chimney fire near Chipping Campden.
A crew from the town was called just before 6pm on Saturday to The Kings Arms, in Mickleton.
On arrival they requested an aerial appliance from Cheltenham fire station before extinguishing the fire.
Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service attends about 300 chimney fires every year. These numbers are rising as solid fuel heating increases in popularity.
