ONE hundred farmers enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of Adam Henson’s Cotswold farm to raise money for a good cause.

Guests enjoyed a walk around the 1,600-acre grassland, arable and livestock farm and adjoining farm park, guided by the BBC Countryfile presenter and his business partner Duncan Andrews.

The event raised money for farming charity RABI – the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution – and was arranged by Lloyds TSB Agriculture, of which Adam is a patron.

Paul Burrows, RABI chief executive, said the day was inspiring.

He said: “Not only could guests learn from the diversity of Adam and Duncan’s enterprise and take back ideas for their own businesses, the event helped to raise funds for our work with farming families in financial difficulty, for which we’re very grateful.”
