A NEW watercolour and print exhibition starts this weekend at Court Barn Museum in Chipping Campden.

Oxfordshire print dealer Elizabeth Harvey-Lee will be selling her work from this Saturday to Sunday, October 21, while two watercolours by Samuel Palmer have been loaned from a private collection.

Impressions of each of Palmer’s finished idyllic landscapes and from four of the plates started by him just before his death but completed by his son, will be offered for sale together with etchings by his peers and other artists inspired by him.

There will also be a selection of images of barns from the 17th to the 21st centuries including works by Adriaen van Ostade, Jean Francois Janinot, William Palmer Robins, Ian Strang, Anthony Gross and Howard Phipps.

A catalogue of all the prints will be available at the exhibition for £5.
