CHILDREN across the Cotswolds have been sharing gifts with the community as part of harvest festival.

Dormer House School, in Moreton, held their celebration at St David’s Church last Thursday through song, poetry and traditional hymns.

Children across the school performed pieces to a packed audience of parents, relatives and friends and raised £212 for the St David’s Church fund. Harvest gifts were taken to Oak Tree Mews residential home in the town by year six children who later entertained residents with their festival songs.

Meanwhile, children at Longborough Primary School donated their harvest gifts to the North Cotswold Food Bank. The infant class helped headteacher Clare Fisher make a harvest loaf.
