PAST and present members of Moreton Playgroup came and shared their memories to celebrate the group’s 45th birthday.
The playgroup, which opened in 1967, threw a party for the children and adults at its base in the St David’s Centre.
Mo Jeffcock and Dorrianne Peach, two of the senior play assistants, are also staging a 45-mile sponsored bike ride in aid of the air ambulance to commemorate the milestone.
Playleader Nicola Rolton said: “It was nice to meet up with families and members of staff from across the generations to look at photos and share news.
“The bad weather meant the numbers attending were low but to those who managed to brave the storms we would like to say a big thank you.
“Our thanks to Amanda for a delicious cake to end our bring and share tea.
We look forward to supporting families for many more years to come.”
Moreton Playgroup provides early years childcare and education for children from their second birthday.
