DOZENS of classic cars took over Cotswold roads as the MG Car Club based its autumn tour at a Broadway hotel.

The Dormy House Hotel hosted 84 club members as more than 100 enthusiasts came together to celebrate their love of the sports car.

About 60 classic MGs, dating from 1936 to 1955, completed a 100-mile round trip of the Cotswolds, taking in Winchcombe, Minchinhampton, Chedworth, Northleach and Bourton.

Later, they held a gala dinner at the Dormy House and the following day set off on a 85-mile tour around Bredon Hill, the Malvern Hills and Eastnor Castle, before finishing the weekend at Croome Park.

Committee member Graham Brown organised the event with his wife Sue. He said: “It was a really fun weekend and the Dormy was a great venue.”
