ALE drinkers will be hopping along to an Evesham pub which has been included in the latest edition of Camra’s Good Beer Guide.

The Old Swanne Inne, High Street, is listed in the 2013 guide which was published earlier this month.

It was the only pub in the town to be chosen by local branch members for inclusion in the respected guide, following regular visits to check on the quality of real ales on offer. They also took into account customer service, décor and overall atmosphere.

The pub’s former manager, Sean Rudd, who was in charge at the time of the listing, said: “I am delighted the Old Swanne Inne has been recognised for the quality of its real ales.

“It offers an excellent range of real ales, including those from regional brewers and microbrewers, as well as hosting beer festivals.

“Staff at the pub work hard to ensure the real ales are kept in first-class condition and the pub’s inclusion in the guide highlights this.”
