Solicitor to retire after 32 years

Jane White, partner at Kendall and Davies solicitors, is retiring after 32 years.
A COTSWOLD solicitor will pay a fond farewell to the legal profession when she retires after 32 years.
Jane White, a property specialist at Kendall and Davies in Stow, will be retiring on Friday, September 28, after working for the firm for almost 20 years.
She will be moving to a house in the hills in Portugal with husband Austin and is looking forward to playing golf, swimming and walking.
The 56-year-old said she had enjoyed working for the family firm and getting to know the local clientele.
“It’s lovely to see the firm going from one generation to the next and the clients doing the same,” she said.
“You see the children growing up and mum and dad helping them to buy their first property.
“The staff are all smashing.
I think whoever takes over from me is coming into a really nice practice and job.
Doing the commercial work with all the shops in the area has been quite fun.”
More than 130 of her clients and colleagues are due to give her a rousing send-off to thank her for all her hard work over the years.
