Hanged by river

AN inquest has been opened into the death of a man who was found hanged from a tree on the banks of the river Avon in Evesham.

Jerzy Dyczewski, aged 40, of High Street, Evesham, was discovered on Sunday, August 26, at a secluded spot along the river between Common Road and the Riverside Hotel.

The Polish national who worked in the area is believed to have family living in the UK and was known to visit the area in which he was found to go fishing.

The inquest has been adjourned awaiting reports
