Jenny’s life behind the lens leads to new career

A COTSWOLD woman who captured her life on camera every day for two years has started her own photography businesses.
Jenny Stewart, of Great Rissington, took 730 consecutive photos including landscapes, people and animals and posted them on social media site blipfoto.com.
The 43-year-old said she started the project to ‘be more creative’ but did not anticipate the success that would follow.
Within the first year of the project, Mrs Stewart had set up her own company Raining Light Photography after her work became known through her photo journal.
She has had a complete career change since the start of the project where she previously worked in supply chain management.
“I never imagined for a minute that it was going to lead down this route but it has and I love it,” she said.
“I think doing the journal meant more people saw what I could do. I totally enjoy everything about it. I would really hope after two years that my skills are bit by bit improving. It’s still such an enormous learning curve.”
