 AN evening of traditional Celtic music is being held in Chipping Norton next month.

The Friends of St Mary’s Church are hosting the concert by Moonrakers on Saturday, October 6, at 7.30pm.

Moonrakers are four musicians who play harp, fiddle, whistles, guitar and Irish bouzouki along with vocals and specialise in Irish, Scottish, Welsh and English songs.

Tickets are £10 and are available from the church office on 01608 646202 or Jaffe & Neale bookshop.

All proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the church.
