A CARE home was taken over by exotic creatures when an animal company paid it a visit. A tarantula, a giant land snail, a gecko and a corn snake called Bob were among the animals taken to Bidford’s Waterloo House Care Home by Zoologica.
The visit also included some more fluffy visitors such as rabbits and guinea pigs.
Activities coordinator Jen Clay said: “We had a few people pull faces at the prospect of holding a giant snail or spider, but they changed their minds on the day,”
she said. Pictured is Ann Parkinson, aged 70, with Bob the corn snake.
