Dog rescued from barbed wire in Bourton
A DOG had to be rescued after it became stuck in barbed wire in Bourton.
Firefighters from Stow were called just after 4pm yesterday to Rissington Road to free a Spaniel which had got its hind leg completely caught in barbed wire.
The owners of the dog were with it and were keeping the dog calm. The firefighters managed to free the dog uninjured by cutting the wire. Crews left the scene after an hour.
