Man assaulted on dancefloor at farmers' ball in Batsford

A MAN was assaulted on the dance floor at a Moreton-in-Marsh Young Farmers event in Batsford.

It’s thought the incident took place between 1am and 2am on Sunday when one of the attendees, a 23-year-old man from Northleach, was assaulted while on the dance floor.

The man suffered injuries to his face and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for medical treatment.

Police would like to hear from any witnesses to the incident and ask that they call Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 114 of September 2.
