RAIN did not stop play in Bourton-on-the-Water as hundreds of people braved the elements to watch the annual football in the river event.
The popular fixture, held on August Bank Holiday Monday, was played between Bourton Rovers 1st and 2nd teams and ended all square at 2-2.
The event sees teams in full kit play the fun match in a shallow part of the river Windrush in the centre of the picturesque village.
