Extra hours at Blockley gardens for charity
2:52pm Monday 20th August 2012 in News
The steep-sided, one hectare Cotswold haven, Mill Dene Garden at Blockley, will be opening outside its usual hours throughout August and September so that various charities can raise some money.
The garden has already been open for the National Garden Scheme this year (separately as well as with Blockley village) and has raised £10,000 since opening 20 years ago.
The ‘charity schedule’ is: August 28, Cotswold Care Hospice; September 2, COBALT; September 8 and 9, Local Heritage Society; September 16, North Cotswold Hospital, League of Friends, “Have a heart”, raising funds to buy defibrillators for North Cotswold villages; September 23, LINC.
