Drivers urged to take care following burst water pipe
UPDATE PROPERTIES near Bourton are still without water following a burst pipe this morning.
Police were called to the A429 after reports of surface water close to the Murco Garage, near Station Road.
Staff from Thames Water are still on the scene and are working to repair the damage.
Thirteen properties are without water while the burst pipe is being repaired.
Craig Rance, spokesman for Thames Water, said they were alerted to the burst pipe at 7.30am this morning and were at the scene fixing the problem.
He said: “The situation is still ongoing and bottled water is on the way. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and are working hard to get this sorted as soon as possible.”
