Pupils' song for the Olympics
PUPILS from Ilmington Primary School have been helping spread the Olympic message. The children performed their Olympicsinspired song Rings Around the World in Alderminster, near Shipston, as the torch passed through on Sunday.
Their song, which has been professionally recorded and released on CD and iTunes, has already attracted a wealth of attention as well as featuring on the BBC’s Songs of Praise. Local radio stations have also featured the song and is has been tweeted by magician Paul Daniels as well as being a hit on Youtube internationally.
