A WINCHCOMBE has been arrested on suspicion of a drugs offence after officers carried out a search warrant.

Police officers carried out a search at a property in Seymour Place on Thursday, June 14 and seized a quantity of what is thought to be herbal cannabis.

The drug is thought to have a street value of about £2,000.

A 27-year-old man was arrested at the address on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class B drug. He has been bailed to return to Cheltenham Police Station on August 2, pending further enquiries and testing on the substances found.
