The Bishop of Gloucester walks the Vale of Evesham

THE Bishop of Gloucester The Rt Revd Michael Perham is walking through the Vale of Evesham on Saturday.
Bishop Michael is an experienced walker and regularly undertakes pilgrimages through parts of the Diocese of Gloucester.
Starting with prayers at Mickleton at 9am he will be heading south west to Aston–sub-Edge for 10.30am and then on to Weston-sub-Edge for 11.15am.
There will a short service of prayers at every church and parishioners are encouraged to join the pilgrims at each stop, or to walk part or all the route.
At St Peter’s Church Willersey at 12.15pm Bishop Michael will be leading a service of Holy Communion at which all are welcome.
He will then lead the pilgrims into Worcestershire to Childswickam at 2.45pm and Acton Somerville for 4pm before going on to the last two villages, Wormington at 5pm, and Dumbleton at 6pm where the day ends with prayers.
