COTSWOLD district councillors are getting excited over a small housing development in Manor Farm, Donnington, which they hope will scoop the top national prize in the National Building Excellence awards in London in November.
Senior building surveyor Gavin McNaught- Davis picked up the regional prize for best small housing development in the west of England in Bristol last month, before Councillor Sue Jepson handed it to representatives from Tyack Architects, York Construction and County House Renovations at a special ceremony.
She said: “This is an example of excellent teamwork resulting in the construction of a beautiful building that fits sympathetically into its surroundings.”
Daniel Gore, for Tyacks, said: “We could not have achieved this award without the support of Cotswold District Council.”
