BUDDING scientists at St James’ and Ebrington Primary School have been get to grips with various aspects of the scientific world.
Pupils at the school took part in a science festival at the school last week, where they had demonstations involving liquid nitrogen, dry ice and exploding hydrogen-filled balloons.
Key Stage 2 pupils also attended workshops on slime and mystery acids with a team from Bristol University Chemlabs who, along with the science department at Chipping Campden School, helped organise the festival.
Acting head teacher Jo O'Sullivan said: "It was a fantastic day and very educational. The children are taught science from the age of four."
