IT will be a case of girls allowed when North Cotswold Community Radio (NCCR) broadcasts its new women’s programme.
Entitled Girl Talk, the show’s first edition will be transmitted at 1.30pm on Friday, May 1 and will be presented by Radway’s Jackie King-Turner and Shipston's Val Rainbow who will chair a topical discussion with opinionated, talkative guests.
Cotswolds born and bred, Jackie is a relative newcomer to broadcasting and was formerly international sales manager for an American telecoms company.
Now a full-time mother to two young daughters, Val is a theatre-design graduate interested in alternative therapies.
Val has run her own costume-hire business and worked as a clown during her varied career.
She now runs Miramar Belly Dancing Troupe.
NCCR’s studios are in Chipping Campden’s Old Police Station.
It can be listened to online at www.northcotswoldonline.com
