SCRAP metal thieves who targeted a premises in Mickleton made off with around £1,500 worth of aluminium.
The unknown offenders gained access to the site which covers several hundred metres, through a gate which had been padlocked.
The thieves took two heavy bags of waste aluminium, they then entered a storage area where they took more bars of the same metal and another bag of scrap aluminium.
The incident took place at some time between 9.30pm on Friday, September 12 and 3pm on Monday, September 15.
