A BODY has been found during the search for missing 73-year-old Norma Conn from Winchcombe.
Ms Conn had been reported missing on Wednesday 14 March after she didn't turn up for a weekly hairdressers appointment.
Yesterday evening (Thursday) a body was recovered from a stream near to her home.
Formal identification has not yet taken place but her next of kin has been informed.
The circumstances of her death are not being treated as suspicious.
A Gloucestershire Police spokesman said: "Police would like to thank all those who shared our appeals to find Norma and for Severn Area Rescue Association for assisting during the search.
"Our thoughts are with Norma's family and friends at this sad time."
