THE Cotswold School will be officially opening a new sixth form centre next week.

Adam Henson, author, farmer and tv presenter will officially open the new building on Wednesday at 10am.

Designed by Gloucestershire-based Thomas Dean Architects the new centre will utilise green technology.

Facilities include a multi-purpose common room with multimedia facilities and kitchen facilities.

A first-floor large study area equipped with over 60 new computers.

Various offices, meeting and counselling rooms and two classrooms will also feature in the new sixth form centre.

Phil White, head of sixth form, said: “Once again this cements the dedication of our pupils, all of whom have worked hard over the years to put themselves in a strong position from which to apply and be recognised for their enthusiasm and talent.

“This is supported by great teaching and amazing support from staff, parents and friends of The Cotswold School.”
