TICKETS are now on sale for the latest pop extravaganza at Worcestershire County Cricket Club.

Pop Fest, on Saturday, June 30, will bring together some of the top stars of the 1990s and 2000s in what promises to be a pop fan’s dream.

Last summer 10,000 fans flocked to the New Road ground to see superstar Olly Murs deliver a memorable show.

Pop Fest will feature Louise, Gabrielle, Boyzlife – comprising original members of Boyzone and Westlife – East 17, S Club, Chesney Hawkes and Whigfield.

Early bird tickets for the all-day event cost £35 and children under the age of 12 go free, when accompanied by an adult. VIP hospitality packages are also available.

Club managing director Jon Graham said: “This is the third successive year that we have held major concerts at New Road and it is an ongoing commitment from the club to stage them every year.

“There were 10,000 people at the Olly Murs concert last summer and this is another exciting bill for music lovers in the city and beyond to enjoy.

“It should be another day to remember and we are delighted that SC Entertainments and SC Events are promoting this event .”

Tickets are now on sale at the club’s website.

Louise was a member of the ultra-successful Eternal but enjoyed massive success in her own right as a solo performer with platinum selling albums Naked, Woman In Me and Elbow Beach.

Boyzlife includes Brian McFadden of Westlife and Keith Duffy of Boyzone – two mega boy bands who between them achieved 20 number one hits.

Singer-songwriter Gabrielle saw her debut single Dreams go to number one in 1993 and six years later Rise went the same way.

East 17’s debut album Walthamstow was a number one and their mixture of pop and hip hop brought them 18 top 20 hits.

Chesney Hawkes was only 19 when in 1991 he rocketed to the top of the UK singles charts with The One And Only. It also reached number one in nine countries all over Europe.
