THREE men threatened staff with a pick axe and other weapons at a Cotswold shop last night (Thursday February 8).

Police were called to the Cotswold Stores, Market Place, Northleach at about 8.05pm after three men had threatened staff with a pick axe and other weapons before making off with cash from the till.

Three offenders, all men, had entered the store shortly before 8.00pm.

The robbers, all described as wearing dark clothing and face coverings, left the shop and are believed to have escaped in a car.

Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who was in Market Place, Northleach earlier in the evening and either saw the offenders or an unfamiliar vehicle arrive in or leave the area.
