A MAN in his 30s has died after a fatal crash on the A40.
The crash happened at about 3.15pm on Wednesday on the A40 between the junction with the turning to Yanworth and the roundabout junction with A429 near Northleach and involved a silver Audi A4, a gold Citroen Picasso and a lorry.
The driver of the Audi, a man in his thirties, suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
His next of kin has been informed.
The drivers of the Citroen and the lorry, both men, were not physically injured but shaken by the incident.
The A40 remained closed last night to allow vehicles to be recovered and diversions were in place.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw any of the three vehicles before the crash occurred, and has not already spoken to police, is asked to call Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101 or email 101@gloucestershire.police.uk quoting incident 247 of 7 February.
Police are also keen to speak to anyone who had a dash cam which may have recorded key material to contact them.
