A COTSWOLD business has been nominated for a Rural Oscar in the Countryside Alliance Awards.
The family run Cotswold Food Store and Cafe in Moreton, has recently become the number one cafe to eat and drink at in the Cotswolds according to TripAdvisor.
Bernard Williams, co-owner of the store said: "Our business slogan 'The Heart of the Cotswolds' not only reflects our geographical location, it underpins every aspect of our business.
"Being family run we value ourselves on: selecting the very best farm shop produce in our area, producing exceptional homemade fayre, championing local suppliers, yet delivering it all with a passion which makes our customers return over and over again.
"Our success is not only measured by our increased footfall, but also a Rural Oscar nomination in the Countryside Alliance Awards for outstanding contribution to the community.
"Our on-going aim is to put homemade and locally sourced produce on the map in Cotswolds, promoting our business values across our local area and wider community."
