A HISTORICAL castle is getting set for a summer with a host of entertainment and activities.
Every Wednesday from July 26 until the end of August, Sudeley Castle and Gardens in Winchcombe is hosting its children’s Wednesday event.
Each day runs from 10am until 4pm and features storytelling with the Dragon Whisperer, Condensed Histories, giant games, a bouncy castle and arts & crafts.
On July 26, August 9 and August 23, Professor Collywobbles returns to the castle with his interactive Punch and Judy show, and the music man will also be running session on August 2, August 16 and August 30.
All activities on children’s Wednesdays are included in the cost of admission or a 12-month pass, both of which can be booked online www.sudeleycastle.co.uk.
Sian Jocelyn, visitor services manager, said: "We know it can be difficult to keep the children entertained throughout the holidays, but with a day a week dedicated to your little lords and ladies this summer, our children’s Wednesdays are the perfect solution.
"This summer’s events are set to be bigger, better and even more popular than ever, and we’re looking forward to welcoming regular and new visitors alike for another special summer at Sudeley."
