TICKETS for a big show are set to go on sale.

This summer's Moreton Show tickets are available from Saturday.

Tickets are available to buy at a variety of stores and visitors’ centres in and around the Cotswolds, with all the details on the show website with e-tickets available for the first time.

Steve Parkes, Moreton Show chairman said: "The launch of ticket sales tells all of us that the countdown has begun in earnest and we’re looking forward to a great show this year.

"For 2017, we have some terrific family entertainment and, as always, Moreton Show will be celebrating the very best in British farming and food.

"Our farmers work hard all year round and the show is a great place to see what they achieve."

Moreton Show also sees the climax of the new ‘Triple Crown’ competition for cattle showing, in which animals will be shown at three Midlands agricultural shows.

The winner of the most points will win £1,000 and be awarded the Three Shires Cattle Trophy.

The competition begins this Saturday, July 1 at the Hanbury Countryside Show in Worcestershire before moving on to Burwarton Show in Shropshire on Thursday, August 3.

Meanwhile, Moreton Show judging is already underway with the Farms and Crops competition but there is plenty of time for entries into other sections of the show.

All the schedules for the various sections are available on the website.

Moreton Show features 350 trade stands and entertainment including the JCB Dancing Diggers and Tractor Ted. See the details at www.moretonshow.co.uk
