SHIPSTON Police have put a lid on a three-week spate of graffiti attacks around the town which have seen local churches, Shipston High School, pavements and benches daubed with paint.
A 12-year-old girl and two teenage boys have been arrested for 20 incidents of graffiti, and Sgt Darren Fretwell warned that more arrests could follow. Officers have also arrested two older teenagers for a series of attacks on cars which have cost owners in the town thousands of pounds.
The trail of incidents included seven cars attacked in Old Road on the same night.
Damage included scratching the car sides and roofs, and one TVR convertible had its roof slashed costing damage running into four figures.
