A 33-YEAR-OLD Cotswolds man was more than two-and-a-half times the legal drink-drive limit when he was stopped by police, a court heard.
Daniel Syndercombe of Fosseway Avenue, Moreton in Marsh was driving his Ford Focus on an unclassified road between Oddington and Broadwell, near Stow-on-the-Wold on August 8.
Cheltenham magistrates heard that the defendant had 93 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
He was disqualified from driving for two years, fined £565 and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85.
