AROUND 120 classic trials motorbikes will be gathering at a farm shop and store, near Moreton, as they set off for a ride around the Cotswolds.

Members of the UK Classic Motorbikes group visited the Cotswold Food Store and tea rooms on the A42 near Longborough last year.

"They said they had such a good time they wanted to come back this year," said store owner Bernard Williams.

"We have a three-acre site here and hold several rallies including MG, Minis and Belles on Bikes. A numb erof them collect for charity.

"The bikes will be gathering here from 9am on Sunday May 29 and will be setting off at one-minute intervals to travel around the Cotswolds. They will be returning at around 3pm. We will be putting on bacon butties from 8am and after 3pm there will be cream teas, home made cakes and drinks."

The store was taken over 20 months ago by Bernard and his wife, Joanne, and they have built it up to sell a whole range of local produce including award-winning pork pies. Outside they sell plants and shepherd's huts.

It is situated on the Stow to Broadway road at Ganborough, near Longoborugh.

"We expect it to be a busy day but we have plenty of room and seating outside as well as a 36-seater tea room," he added.
